Something happened when Holborn Creative Media and Holborn Gallery moved to 134 Riberia Street in St. Augustine, Florida back in 2006.

We had been a successful studio since 1998, specializing in web design and fine art print making. We pioneered the digitizing of original art and its output with high-quality inks onto archival materials in both St. Augustine and Taos, New Mexico. Artists sought our marketing services, as well as help in reproducing their works using new media.

But when we moved to St. Augustine's working waterfront, just around the corner from its dynamic art district, things changed. We expanded our gallery space and became a destination during monthly First Friday Art Walks. We gained a retail base that we found we enjoyed as much as our traditional clients. For them, we added Gifts Under $100.

Then something really interesting happened. A sense of place began to permeate our consciousness. We noticed that artists who were capturing the uniqueness of Northeast Florida — its waterways, shores, streets, and people — were producing pieces with a quality we found magnetic. Their works began to excite us the most, whether oils, pastels, photographs, or watercolors. Our art customers were just as enthusiastic.

So here on the banks of the San Sebastian River we decided to "go with the flow." We added a new dimension to Holborn Gallery: the San Sebastian River Artists.

We revamped and expanded our online gallery to show our offerings in the manner they deserve, and just as important, to make it easier for you to find great works of art you'll love. We added more information about the artists themselves because we realize that discriminating art lovers want to know about the techniques and processes and people behind the works they collect.

Holborn Gallery made a good move when we came to the water. You made a good move when you visited our site. We hope you will come back any time you want to enjoy browsing for beautiful works of art.
