Holborn Happenings for February 2009

Ongoing – Art at Carmelo’s by Holborn Gallery
If you haven’t been to Carmelo’s at the corner of Malaga and King Streets, then we encourage you to do so! Joe and Cindy Tringali have recently renovated their fuel and service station into Carmelo’s Marketplace. Still serving fuel, they’ve now added a wonderful café and lounge area with free wi-fi. Carmelo’s is a great place for gourmet pizza, scrumptious salads and sandwiches or a delicious cup of coffee. While there, we invite you to enjoy a visual feast of artwork by The San Sebastian River Artists in the lounge area. Fuel for the car. Food for the body. Art for the soul. All at one place!

Friday, 2/06/09 – First Friday Artwalk from 5 pm until 9 pm
It’s fun and best of all, it’s free! Come by the Gallery during our extended evening hours and enjoy treats provided by Coastal Cafe. Sip on a glass of wine while you listen to the wonderful sounds of St. Augustine’s very own Southern pop band, “Bittersweet”. View the beautiful new works of North Florida by John Reed, accomplished photographer and one of our San Sebastian River Artists. Plenty of free parking provided. Stop by for awhile and then catch one of the trolley trains that stop right at our door to take patrons to other galleries throughout historic downtown St. Augustine.

All the way from Moriarty, New Mexico, Tu Moonwalker, with her partner Láné Saán Moonwalker, will be here at the Gallery during First Friday Artwalk to sign their latest book “Business Revolution through Ancestral Wisdom”. To give you a little background, Tu and Láné are our business advisors and have been teaching us how to put “twinkle, old fashioned charm, respect and good ole’ magic” into our business as well as into our personal lives. We are extremely grateful to them both for coming to St. Augustine and sharing their knowledge with others. Books are on sale at the Gallery and we invite you to check out their web site at www.businessrevolutionwisdom.com for more information about this incredible book.
